'Bol' is a contemporary take on Faiz Ahmed Faiz's unforgettable poem 'Bol Ke Lab Aazad Hain Tere'.
Using the poem as a refrain we are working on a visual and lyrical extension of the central theme of resistance and rising up against injustice. The context of the poem is realised in the current times as we see political as well as regional and religious unrest still gripping us, nationally as well as internationally.
The times are changing for better and for worse and we hope to lend our voice to the global movement.
We need to speak up. And we need to speak now.
