AVANI TANDON VIEIRa | Co-founder

Avani Tandon Vieira is a PhD candidate and Gates scholar at the University of Cambridge. Her research considers independent publishing in late twentieth-century India. Avani received a Bachelor’s degree in English from St. Stephen’s College, New Delhi, and a Master’s degree in World Literature from Oxford University. Alongside her academic work, she runs the activist/aesthetics research collective and the Museum of Ephemera, an online repository of protest forms.

ANSH VOHRA | Co-founder

Ansh is a Toronto-based executive producer, creative director, and documentary filmmaker. He leads the video arm of Atlas Obscura, a travel and media company based in New York. His independent work has focused on themes of migration, and been screened at festivals across the world. In 2020, he was one of 10 Canadian filmmakers chosen to participate in the prestigious HotDocs Accelerator Lab, supported by Netflix. In 2017, he was of 12 filmmakers from around the world to participate in the Collaborative Studio fellowship at UnionDocs Centre for Documentary Arts in New York.
