From Sana in Karachi : I started this series randomly during early lockdown and back then I was mostly making mock Pantone swatches of the sunset. My husband would take a breather and to go to the rooftop every day just to get outside and see the sky and feel freer but eventually the names and the subjects started reflecting cultural quirks and emotions as we navigated the new normal. Cooking all the time at home rather than ordering in, disinfecting groceries, picking up flowers, things I'd taken for granted were in a way being recorded. I feel the series is definitely reflective of all the things I have a renewed respect for.
